Powwow Hill Sensory Hike
Saturday, June 25th 1PM
Join members of the Lake Gardner Improvement Association for a morning sensory hike up Powow Hill on Saturday the 24th at 9 AM. Bruce McBrien will lead, narrating about the history of the hill, river and the lake. We’ll be pausing frequently to note the changes in sound, fragrance and view as we make our way deeper into the forest. We will reach the top of Powow Hill, visit the edge of Battis Farm and loop back to the beach by way of the boardwalks and trails. This is a moderate hike, including some inclines. Comfortable shoes, insect repellent and a walking stick are recommended. Duration is approximately one hour.
